Beyond The Pro And Cons: Legal, Political, And Social Perspectives On Same Sex Marriage In Utah: The University of Utah Political Science Department will present a panel that will discuss “Beyond the Pro and Cons: Legal, Political, and Social Perspectives on Same Sex Marriage in Utah.” Details: From noon to 1:30 p.m.at the Hinckley Institute of Politics.

Saturday, March  29th

Utah Clean Air Fair: The first ever Utah Clean Air Fair 2014, March 29, 2014. There will be some 50 vendor booths from the Utah Clean Air Alliance groups and from all sectors of the Sustainability Community of Utah. Visit here for information.

MDA Muscle Walk: The Muscular Dystrophy Association will hold a rundraising walk. Register here. 

Wounded Warrior Project 8k Run: The Army ROTC program at Weber State Univesity will host an 8k Run in support of the Wounded Warrior Project. The race will be held on March 29, 2014. The race will start at the WSU football stadium and follow a 2.5 mile course to a turn around point and then end back at the stadium. All of the proceeeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. There will be an awards ceremony and a raffle at the end of the race. Visit here to register.

Sunday, March  30th

Plan-b Theatre’s 3: Plan-B Theatre Company will present Eric Samuelsen’s 3. The presentation is three short plays about Mormon women confronting their own culture. In “Bar and Kell,” two women help a single mother and confront their own motives. In “Community Standard,” a woman serving on the jury of an indecency trial is forced to confront issues in her own marriage.
