Frida Kahlo Exhibit: Frida Kahlo’s work is coming to Salt Lake Community College for the show “Viva Frida,” Feb. 13-March 19, 2014. Her work will be on display in the new east entrance gallery at the Center for Arts and Media, located on the College’s South City Campus.

Black Awareness Activity – Ajamu Baraka: Ajamu Baraka, a leading national and international human rights activist, will address the need for a new conception of human rights that advances a progressive vision for human liberation on Meet at Okazaki Community Meeting Room 155. Quaker Participatory Workshop: Quaker Participatory Workshop will discuss “This Land Was Your Land: Examining the Doctrine of Discovery and Its Enduring Impact on America’s Native Peoples.” Details: From 7-9p.m. at the Salt Lake Quaker Meeting House (171 E. 4800 South, Murray).
