Activist Breakfast & Canvassing for PPAC

Activist Breakfast & Canvassing for Candidates

Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM (PDT)

West Valley City, Utah

Hello!

I am writing to invite you to an Activist Breakfast, hosted by Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah, this coming Saturday, September 6th.

We will be meeting at Woodledge Park in West Valley City on Saturday morning for breakfast provided by PPAC.

After breakfast we will be helping four candidates canvass the West Valley City area to speak with residents about getting out to vote and informing them about the candidates we will be supporting.

I have attached links to the websites for the four candidates. I encourage you to look through them and decide which candidate you would like to walk for.

Clare Collard – Senate District 12 – www.electclarecollard.com

Christine Passey – House District 44 – www.christinepassey.com

Diane Lewis – House District 43 – www.dianelewiscampaign.com

Larry Wiley – House District 31 – http://le.utah.gov/house2/detail.jsp?i=WILEYLB

We will be canvassing in teams of two, with specific houses that we will be approaching that have been identified as possibly supportive residents for the candidates. (Don’t worry – no door to door knocking!)

Breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m. – plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start time of the candidate
you plan to walk with.

Woodledge Park – 5210 West 4310 South, West Valley City

Those walking with Clare Collard and Christine Passey will begin canvassing at 9:00 a.m.

Those walking with Diane Lewis will begin canvassing at 9:30 a.m.

Those walking with Larry Wiley will begin canvassing at 10:00 a.m.

This is a great opportunity to act and help get progressive candidates into office.
